Andrew Lynn is a lawyer, writer, and author of the ‘Classics for the Modern Man’ series. His mission as writer is to draw upon classic texts and traditional wisdom in order to help us answer the most profound questions that we face as human beings. Andrew holds a doctorate in Renaissance Literature from Cambridge University and taught courses in Western civilization at university internationally before taking up the practice of law.
In addition to his ‘Classics for the Modern Man’ series, which brings alive classic works of philosophy for the modern reader, Andrew is author of the ‘Shakespeare Tales’ series, which introduces and collates the classic prose versions of Shakespeare’s plays. Andrew is currently working on Classic Ethics for the Modern Man, a fresh and modern introduction to classic texts in the tradition of virtue ethics, as well as his first work of fiction, Hieronimo, a novelization of Thomas Kyd’s influential sixteenth-century classic play, The Spanish Tragedy.
